60s Green Vuokko Screen Printed Mini Dress

Retro dress designed by Vuokko Nurmesniemi. Vuokko worked at Marimekko and pioneered the iconic JokaPoika stripe design known around the world. This dress features a green version of the Pyörre printed fabric, designed in 1964. Rather than center the whirlpool inspired design, the center of the circle is used near the mock neck allowing the print to come across the shoulders and body. Classic 60's A-line cut dress with a high neck and 3/4 length sleeves. The sleeves have a nifty dart detail, and the neckline and cuffs are finished with stitch details.
